hair scarfs + scrunchies

I’m so in love with this trend right now and I’m really hoping it’s here to stay! Hair scarfs can be used to dress up a simple half up / half down look or can help add a little something extra to a low pony. I especially love using them on day two hair in a low pony - it helps this hairstyle look less ~founding father-esque ~ on me! Scrunchies are another hair accessory that helps make a simple hair style look more put together. I love using them for my top knots and messy buns. Some of my favorite places to find hair scarfs and scrunchies are Madewell (like the one pictured here) and Francesca’s! I’ve also found some cute unique ones at smaller boutiques.

I have been wanting these adorable espadrilles for months and I finally got them! I’ve had them for about a month now and they are totally my new favorite pair of shoes. They’re perfect to wear with a cute jumpsuit or dress or they can easily dress up a simple jeans outfit. They come in so many cute colors but I went with a simple black pair to start and quickly ordered a blush pair! It’s safe to say I’m kind of obsessed! You can find these on Amazon!

away for the weekender bag

I’d been looking for a smaller duffle bag for weekend trips and after starting my internship at Thirty-One, I found the perfect one! It is a great size, has an interior zipper pocket, and has a strap. I’ve been using this bag for all of my weekend getaways, whether it’s down to Cincinnati for a friend’s birthday celebration or up to the lake for a relaxing weekend, this bag works perfectly! The pattern I own is Tropical Twist, which I don’t believe is available anymore but they have so many other cute options on the website!

I’ve always been a huge Thomas Rhett fan and this album did not disappoint. TR is always so real with his music and I can’t get enough of this album. My favorites are Almost, Don’t Stop Driving, Notice, and Don’t Threaten Me With a Good Time.

Oh how I love a good statement earring! I used to just wear my simple Kendra Scott drusy studs all the time (and still wear them constantly) but I’m loving the tassel and dangly earrings lately. I get most of mine from Francesca’s, Target or from boutiques. They make every outfit so much more fun and add a little extra personality.

happiness begins album

Like every girl who was alive at the peak of the Jonas Brothers era, I’m loving their new album! My friends and I got tickets to see them in concert this fall and I’ve been making progress on memorizing all the new songs. I have to say my favorites are Cool, Sucker, and Rollercoaster! archer & olive dotted notebook

This is an item that I’ve posted a lot about on Instagram but I can’t help it! It has thick pages so you can utilize the front and backs of all the pages. It closes with a strap and has a spot for a pen. I also love the ribbon bookmarks that can save my spot so I flip right open to my to do list. I’ve bought two of them so far and I can’t recommend them enough.
