branding suite

BFF Skincare is a licensed spa owned and operated by Jess Hecker, a licensed esthetician located in Springfield, Ohio. Jess was moving her business into a new location and wanted to professionally rebrand her business for the new space. After meeting with Jess and learning about her business, we decided that her branding should be welcoming, relaxing, caring and personal, yet professional.

For typography, I paired a clean sans serif with a serif font that had some personality and character. This combination conveys the cleanliness and fresh feeling of BFF Skincare while still having some life and character. As far as brand imagery goes, I created a facial floral icon that contains anemone flowers as those are very special to the owner - she carried them in her wedding bouquet! The florals can be found throughout the branding alongside a sparkle element to provide a playful but professional look and feel. For color, I chose an earthy yet feminine color palette that would play into the relaxing and soothing vibe of the location.

I designed a variety of assets for Jess including brochures, business cards, social elements and gift certificates along with the full logo and branding suite.
